Mary Elizabeth 'Tippy' Jones

ROCK HALL, Md. - Mary Elizabeth "Tippy" Jones, of Rock Hall, died on July 17, 2009, at Chester River Manor in Chestertown. She was 89. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jones in 1971. She is survived by a son, Paul W. Jones of Worton, along with three grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, where relatives and friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her name to Rock Hall Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 577 Rock Hall, MD 21661 or to the American Cancer Society.
