GEORGETOWN - Mary C. Rogers passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at Beebe Medical Center. Mary was born on Jun. 29, 1925 at Taylor's Bridge to the late William I. and Clara (Davis) Webb. She was a seamstress. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest M. Rogers; and granddaughter, Melissa Swift. She is survived by her children, William B. Webb and wife Clara of Millsboro; sister, Margaret Callaway of Laurel; one granddaughter, Dawn M. Davis; and three great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jacob Swift and Sarah Davis. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 18, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, where friends may call after 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
