Mary Ann MacDonald

DOVER - Mary Ann MacDonald passed away peacefully on Apr. 21, 2017.
She was born Aug. 28, 1957, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Roger and Geraldine Kennard.
Mary Ann grew up in Newark, graduating from Newark High School in 1975. She went on to earn her Associates Degree from Goldey-Beacom College in Wilmington.
Ms. MacDonald worked for Asbury United Methodist Church as well as the Smyrna-Clayton Sun Times, both in Smyrna.
She was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kevin Kennard.
She is survived by her children, Matthew J. Lindell and his wife, Jennifer, of Dover and Heather M. Wozniak and her husband, Stephen, of Shrewsbury, Pa.; four grandchildren, Jacob, Chloe, Ava and Aaron; two brothers, Charles Kennard and Michael Kennard; her aunt and uncle, Ann and Bud; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Apr. 27, 2017, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 6:30 pm. Burial will be private.
Flowers are welcome, however donations in Mary Ann's name may be sent to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
