Mary Agnes Hutchins

MILTON - Mary Agnes Hutchins, of Milton, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011, in the Delaware Hospice Center, in Milford. Mary was born in Alexandria, La., daughter of the late Joseph and Jesse (Munro) Rateau. She was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking and doll making. She was a member of the Delaware Doll Association. Mary was also a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Lewes. In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Hartley F. Hutchins, in 2004. She is survived by her children, Richard Hutchins, of Hinesburg, Vt, Alden F. Hutchins, of Spartanburg, S.C., Robert Hutchins, of Milton, Leslie Doyle, of Schenectady, N.Y. and Hartley F. Hutchins, Jr., of Lockport, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends. A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, January 6, 2012, in the Parish Hall of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, De 19958. Arrangements in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
