Mary A. Seward

EASTON - Mary A. Seward, a devoted and beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016. Mary was born in Easton, MD on April 6, 1939 to the late Harry and Gertrude (Smith) Boone. Mary worked at Playtex, the National Cup Co., King Cole, and at Anthony's Restaurant. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her siblings, Anna May, Harry, Alvin, Ed, and Jim Boone, Dorthy Callahan, Eunice Carouse, Evelynn and Marguerite Cole; and two baby brothers. She is survived by her husband, Robert Seward; two daughters, Nancy Miles (Jesse) of Viola, Linda Clark (Roger) of Harrington; two sons, David Seward and his companion Beverly, and Robbie Seward, both of Felton; grandchildren, Jason (Jen) Miles, Keith (Shelly) Miles, Cory Miles and Jessica Taylor, Jessica Miles and John McClister, Eric (Nicole) Durham, and Jamie Seward; sister-in-law, Norma Lee Messick and Anne Creed; brother-in-law, Ernie Creed; great-grandchildren, Breanna, Caila, J.J., Sam, Emily, Mackenzie, and Camaro Miles, Lane McClister, Aiden and Mia Durham, Jailynne, Jose, Jazmyn, and Jarissa Seward; and 31 nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at 11 am in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE 19943 with the funeral service to start at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery in Frederica.
