LINCOLN - Marvin Duffy,Sr. of Coatsville, Pa., formerly of Lincoln, Del., died Monday Sept. 26, 2011 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia after a brief illness. Marvin was born May 11, 1926 in Parksley, Virginia to the late Prentice and Lillie Watts Duffy. Marvin 's working career spanned more that 50 years at Bryan Hoskins Ford Dealership in Coatsville, up until June of this year when he stopped work due to ill health. Marvin was a member of Mt. Enon Baptist church in Milford, Del. Marvin was predeceased by his wife, Clarene Griffin Duffy; son, Howard Griffin, Sr.; and daughter, Precious Duffy. He is survived by three daughters, Melva J. Jeffcoat, Columbia, S.C., Sherlene Y. Duffy, Winnsboro, S.C., Francine Duffy, Lincoln, Del.; two sons, Marvin Duffy, Magnolia, Del., Heyward A. White, Sr., Lewes, Del.; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Naomi Savage, Pearl Duffy, and Philerene Duffy all of Philadelphia, Pa. Service will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011 at 1:15 p.m., viewing at the church Wednesday evening 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday morning 2 hours before service at Mt.
