DOVER - Masha Purdie-Morris, born September 4, 1954 in Chicago Ill., passed away on January 3, 2015. She was born to Bertha Purdie and Rufus Purdie. Marsha graduated from Jones Commercial High School, was a licensed cosmetologist and student at Del-Tech Community College. She enjoyed singing in the Holy Cross Choir & had a passion for horticulture. She was also a member of the Wings of Hope Delaware Breast Cancer Support Group. She was preceded in death by her father Rufus Purdie Sr., and her brother Rufus Purdie Jr. (Mickey). Marsha is survived by her husband, Richard Morris; her son, Terry Bradshaw of Chicago, Il; two step-daughters, Denise General & Sheryl Morris of Dover; three sisters Sheila Brown, Denise Purdie-Tate, Tonya Michelle Ferguson; brother, Cardell Purdie (Jonane), aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends to numerous to name. Services will be at Bennie Smith Funeral Home 717 West Division Street Dover, De. Saturday, January 10 at 4 P.M. There will be a repast at Holy Cross Auditorium following the service.
