Marjorie Lyda Foraker, 81

SANDTOWN - Marjorie Lyda Foraker, of Sandtown, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at home. She was 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Charles Foraker; sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Elaine Foraker, and James and Sug Foraker; daughter and sons-in-law, Connie Sommers, Jennie and George Short, and Linda and John Russell; 11 grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three brothers, and nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington, where visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
