SEAFORD - Marjorie Carter Farrell, age 91, of Seaford, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at her residence. Born in Barnwell, S.C. the daughter of the late Annie Mae Williams and William Henry Carter, she drove a bus for the State of Delaware. Marjorie was a member of the ladies auxiliary American Legion Post 19 Laurel, and attended Christ Evangelistic Church in Laurel. She is survived by two sons, Raymond Abrams of Blades, and Alva Abrams of Rehoboth Beach; five daughters, Phyllis Thielemann of New Castle, Winifred Dinehart Branchport, N.Y., Diane Doan Clayton, Debbie Fothergill and Judy Farrell both of Seaford; two sisters, Hattie Rudniak of Clayton, and Hazel Rudniak of Stanton, a niece Polly Pusey of Laurel, 26 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and several great great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, William R. Carter. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, in Watson-Yates Funeral Home Front and King Streets Seaford, where friends may call from Noon to 2 p.m. prior to the services. Rev. Roland E. Tice will officiate. Burial will be in Blades Cemetery Blades.
