DENTON, Md. - Marjorie B. Adams, of Denton, Md., died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at the Caroline Home for Hospice. She was 91. Born on April 10, 1920, in Caroline County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Henry Butler, Sr. and Mary Eliza Breeding. Her husband, Norman Lawson Adams, died Nov. 18, 1997. She had lived in Caroline County all of her life, had worked for many years at Saulsbury Brothers' in Ridgely, and was a farmer's wife. Mrs. Adams is survived by one son, Norman Wayne Adams of Denton; two daughters, L. Diane Reinertson and her husband Craig of Springfield, Va., and Janet Lee Adams and her fiancé Bruce Gunson of Easton, Md.; two brothers, Charles E. Butler, Jr. of Greenwood, and Frank Butler of Lumberton, Texas; three sisters, Ruthanna Crouch of Leroy, Ill., Eloise Luff of Greenwood, and Doris M. Blades of Denton; four grandchildren, Gregory Pope, Laura Barreto, Jeffrey Haines, and Anna Reinertson; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, M. Elizabeth "Betty" Haines in 1984; three brothers, Arnold Butler, Paul Butler, and Woodrow Butler; and one sister, Mildred Sharp. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 6, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 South Second Street, Denton, where friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday eveing.
