DOVER - Marion C. Connor passed away Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, in the Silver Lake Nursing Center. She was 89. Marion was born on Nov. 4, 1922, in Carbondale, Pa., daughter of the late Michael and Clara (Connell) Howard. She owned a group home for the mentally disabled in New Jersey for 25 years. Her favorite hobby was crocheting. Marion was a life member of Post #232 American Legion of Barnegat, N.J., and the Frederica Senior Center. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James. Marion is survived by her daughter, Mary Scannelli of Magnolia; three grandchildren, Patrick Scannelli, Joey Scannelli and Angela Scannelli, all of Dover; and a great-granddaughter, Danniella Scannelli; and several nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service will be in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Barnegat, N.J.
