Diogo, 79 MILFORD - Marilyn "Grammy" Diogo, 79, of Milford, died Thursday, February 26, 2015, at home surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born in New Bedford, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Evelyn (Saunders) Pasquill. She was a homemaker. Grammy enjoyed mentoring at the Lulu Ross Elementary School in Milford, volunteered at Milford Memorial Hospital and at St. John's Catholic Church for many of the church's committees and events. She was also a strong supporter of the Milford Police Department, the Carlisle Fire Company and of the many City of Milford events that took place throughout the year. Marilyn was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a strong, family oriented woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Fred Diogo in 2004. She is survived by a son, Brad Diogo and his wife Mitzie, of Greenwood; three daughters, Judy Diogo Schrock and her husband Eli, of Harrington, Jo-Ann Miller and her husband Kenny, of Harrington, and Gail Johnson and her husband Rick, of Milford; one sister, Gail Marshall and her husband Tyce, of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, "Gracie Mae". Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963; the Tunnell Cancer Center, 18947 John J. Williams Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971; or to St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avneue, Milford, DE 19963.
