MILLINGTON - Marie Michelle "Shelley" Walls of Millington, Md., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016 at her home. She was 57. Born on Nov. 15, 1959, in Leonardtown, Md., she was the daughter of Joseph Eugene, Jr. and Gloria Jean Wood Trossbach of Millington, Md. Shelley graduated from Queen Anne's County High School, class of 1977 and attended the Washington School for Secretaries, graduating in 1978. After graduation she began her 30 year career with the State of Maryland at the Department of Motor Vehicles. After retirement in 2009, she opened Shelley's Tag & Title in Templeville, Md.. Since that time her business expanded to offices in Chestertown and Greensboro, Md. Shelley loved her work and the customers she served. She was always a people person and took pride in her work and the knowledge she obtained over her years of service. Shelley enjoyed bingo, craft shows, bowling, classic country music, and volunteering with the Kent County Adult Day Care program. She always enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved going to Dover Downs with her family. Shelley also enjoyed helping local fundraising efforts. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Larry Walls of Marydel, Md.; two brothers, Donnie Trossbach (Pat) of Sudlersville, Md., and Brian Trossbach (Bobbie Jo) of Church Hill, Md.; two sisters, Karen Schauber (Pepsi) of Chestertown, Md., and Patty Trossbach of Chestertown, Md.; a close family friend, Jane Anthony of Chestertown, Md.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and too many friends to count. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 130 Speer Road, Chestertown, MD, where relatives and friends may call two hours prior (11a.m. -1 p.m.). Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in her memory to the Kent County Adult Day Care, 125 S.
