MILLSBORO - Marie C. Collins, formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Agnes (Gillen) Gray, and two sons, Leo an Michael Collins. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Leo M. Collins; son, John Collins; two daughters, Louise Schaefer and Dorothy McGuckin; her brother, Charlie Gillen; sisters, Catherine Navickas and Betty Carpenter; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Services were held Monday, Sept. 14th at the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE. 19966. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Marie's memory to, The Foundation Fighting Blindness, P.O. Box 17279, Baltimore, MD. 21203-7229.
