Marie B. Loucks, 77 GEORGETOWN - Marie B. Loucks, resident of Georgetown since 1993, formerly of New York, passed away on Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at home. She was 77. She was born in New York City, N.Y. She worked for Smith Corona until her retirement. She was a member of the World Wide Church of God and enjoyed reading and studying the Bible. She enjoyed opera music and her pet dogs, Charlie, Jake and Boomer. Her parents, her husband, and two sons, Steven and John Loucks, preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Ken Loucks and his wife Betty of Georgetown; one brother, Walter Despaw and his wife Doris of Homer, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Katrinda Harmon and her husband Dar, Elwood John "E.J." Loucks and his wife Miko, Kenny Loucks, Elizabeth Willey and her husband Robert, Bryant Wilson, Sheila Fleming, Minos James "Jamie" Wilson II and his wife Wendi; and great-grandchildren, Bazil, James, Katrease, Saaya, Bobby, Alex, Cassandra, Kenny, Keith, Chad, Samantha, Billy Knowles and Dorian Fleming. Services and burial will be private. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Georgetown.
