Smith, 95 LINCOLN - Marian Millman Smith passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 in her home with her family. She was born on December 16, 1918 in Ellendale, daughter of the late Davis and Josephine (Millman) Draper. Marian was a clerk with National Cash Register for several years and along with her late husband, owned and operated Paul and Marian Smith General Store, in Ellendale, for ten years. She was a member of the Ellendale Fire Company Ladies Axillary. In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Paul V. Smith, who passed away in 2004; a grandson, Richard Smith, Jr.; and three great grandchildren, Kelly and Ricky Brandor and Chase Rothermel. She is survived by five children, Vernon Smith (Rebecca) of Powell, Wyo., Robert Smith (Doris), Richard Smith (Nancy), Nancy Sykes (Joe), and David Smith, all of Lincoln; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of extended family. A graveside service will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Slaughter Neck Cemetery, 23221 Argos Corner Rd. in Milford. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or Delaware Hospice.
