GEORGETOWN - Marian E. Paugh, of Georgetown, died on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 86. Marian was born in Dagsboro, the daughter of the late Layton and Carrie Fisher Jester. She worked at Arrow Safety in Georgetown. She was a past member of the Rebekah Lodge in Georgetown. She enjoyed spending time with family at family dinners and picnics and traveling and also enjoyed a good joke. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam C. Paugh, Jr. in March 2009; a son, Racey O. Paugh; two brothers, Merrill Jester and Aubrey Jester; and two sisters, Jean Bunting and Romona Michael. She is survived by two sons, L. Richard Paugh, Sr. and his wife Ruth of Georgetown and Ralph L. Paugh and his wife Susie of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Paugh of Georgetown; six Grandchildren, L. Richard Paugh, Jr. and his wife Chrissy, Randy Paugh and his wife Donna, Carrie Davidson, Amy Shaw and her husband Kaabe and Michael Paugh and his wife Jaci, and Katie Hundley; and ten great-grandchildren, Nathan Paugh, Ranae Paugh, Travis Paugh, Dylan Davidson, Derrick Davidson, Keegan Shaw, Maya Shaw, Nicole Paugh, Jasmine and Kahlel Hundley. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 26, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, where friends may call after noon. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Georgetown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
