CAMDEN - Maria Skeens passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 76. Maria was born on Feb. 26, 1936, in Italy. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and caring for her family. Maria was a member of Holy Cross Church. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Verlen Skeens; three sonsm Michael Skeens of Camden, Walker Skeens and his wife Dawn of Dover, and Dennis Skeens of Camden; eight grandchildren; and an extended family in Italy. Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State St., Dover. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover. Letters of condolence can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
