Maria Perna Maddaluno Esposito

CAMDEN - Maria Perna Maddaluno Esposito of Camden, passed away Nov. 4, 2013 at home. Maria was born in Naples, Italy on Mar. 11, 1921 to Umberto and Luisa Perna. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Maddaluno, who was the love of her life; and her second husband, Vincent Esposito. Maria enjoyed singing in the church choir in Naples, knitting her favorite hats, cooking and bingo. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Aristy of Camden, and Patricia Sebastian of Magnolia, who were her primary caregivers; with the love and support of Robert Rankin, Nick Sebastian, her son-in-law; and dear friend Gary Melvin. She is also survived by her daughter, Nancy Rothenberg of Glendale, Ariz.; her son, Joseph Maddaluno of N. Bellmore, N.Y., two sisters, Josephine Arena and Elena Di Finizio of Queens, N.Y.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A viewing will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S State Street, Dover, DE. Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale N.Y. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
