In 1994, Antonietta with her husband and daughters moved to Delaware to embark on a new chapter of their lives. They opened Mari Monti and worked for 12 years side by side. Antonietta was a devoted catholic and parishioner of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was involved with the Alliance of the two hearts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Vincenzo and Maria Giovanna; brother-in-law, Giovanni; and many close friends she considered family. Aside from her husband, Salvatore Maddalena, she is survived by daughters, Giovanna Granitto and her husband Savio, and Rosanna Zappull and her husband Domenico; grandchildren, Adele, Maria, Vasco, Annachiara and Giusy; her sister, Angelina; brothers, Antonio and his wife Grazia, and Bernardo and his wife Carmela; brothers and sisters-in- law, Michele and his wife Carmela, Gabrielle and his wife Marisa, Elio and his wife Angela, and Mario and his wife Onesta; and 19 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Interment will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery.
