Margaret Schrock, 88 HARRINGTON - Margaret Schrock, of Harrington, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. She was 88. Margaret was born on June 14, 1922, in Fentress, Va., to the late Charles and Ella Warfel. She was a member of the Greenwood Mennonite Church. She enjoyed going to church, attending cell group, and her sewing circle. She liked gardening, keeping house, watching and feeding birds, especially hummingbirds, and watching butterflies. She also enjoyed being with her friends, and having people over to visit. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray E. Schrock; her son, Donald Schrock; and a brother, Donald Warfel. She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by seven children, Gladys and Carl Ulrich of Greenwood, Marian Schrock of Harrington, Charles Schrock of Harrington, Robert and LaDonna Schrock of Harrisburg, Ore., Alvin and Barbara Schrock of Harrington, Vernon Schrock of Laurel, and Daniel and Christine Schrock of Harrisburg, Ore.; 14 grandchildren, Marlene, Bonnie, Paul, Janelle, Suzanne, Gerald, Linda, Arlin, Nolan, Karla, Matthew, Travis, Robert, and Joseph; two great-grandchildren, Sadie and Payton; two sisters, Myra Wanner of Milford, and Rebecca Layman of Little Fork, Minn.; and a brother, Stanley Warfel of Halsey, Ore.; and her dog, Peppy. Viewing will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Greenwood Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at adjourning cemetery. Arrangements by Fleischauer Funeral Home, Greenwood.
