MILTON - Margaret Sarah Satchell was born in Painter, Va., on April 9, 1929. She passed away on Aug. 12, 2016 due to heart complications. She was one of nine children of the late Pearl Lee and James R. Savage. She was the beloved wife of the late Charlie Satchell, Sr., for over 50 years. Margaret will be forever remembered by her brother, Preston Savage, of Maryland; and sisters, Mary Lewis, of Maryland and Arinthia Fosque, of Delaware. For the past eleven years Margaret has been a close friend and companion of Samuel Young, of Milton. She was a life long member of Burton Chapel AME Church, Milton. Margaret enjoyed cooking spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed going, it did not matter where you were heading she always just wanted to go along for the ride. She enjoyed dancing to her favorite song, "Papa got a brand new bag" by James Brown, and loved showing off her "famous" dance move that she continued to do well into her 80's. Margaret could always put a smile on your face and make you laugh. Margaret was the most amazing, strongest woman in mind and spirit, always maintaining a positive attitude through all the trials and tribulations that she endured. Margaret will forever be in our hearts and on our mind. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends Margaret is survived by two sons, Charlie and wife, Betty Satchell, Jr., of Baltimore, Md., and Charles and wife, Karen Sewell, of Chesapeake, Va.; daughter, Elaine Satchell and husband, James Sheppard, of Lewes. Margaret leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, Aug. 19, 2016 at 12 noon. Friends may call at the church two hours before service. Services will be held at Friendship Baptist Church, 500 W. 4th St., Lewes, DE 19958.
