Margaret Muirhead

CAMDEN - Margaret Muirhead died May 21, 2016, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Muirhead was born on Dec. 27, 1949, and was predeceased by her parents Babette (nee Kolb) and George Wallentine, of Jersey City, N.J. She held various administrative positions throughout her career. Her last position was with Advanced Cardiology in Hackettstown, N.J. where she loved Dr. Marotta, and Dr. Godkar, and all of the patients. She also loved to cook and bake, especially German specialties. Her favorite past time was spoiling her beloved dog, Gretchen. Mrs. Muirhead is survived by her husband of 49 years, Brian Muirhead; daughters, Kristine Nystrand and husband, Thomas, of Rockaway, N.J., Linda Muirhead, of Hopatcong, N.J., and Patricia Muirhead, of Camden; her sister, Linda Stisi and husband, Dominick, of Lyndhurst, N.J.; brothers, Steven Wallentine and wife, Rosemarie, of Howell, N.J., and Allen Wallentine and his partner, Nellie Grossi, of Jersey City, N.J.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 12 noon on Wednesday, May 25 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 1145 E Lebanon Rd. (Rt. 10), friends may call two hours prior for visitation. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
