"Peggy" was born in Milford, DE on November 18, 1940 to Raymond and Evalina Parsons. She passed away at home December 6, 2023.
She graduated from Milford High School in the Class of 1958 and then trained as an X-Ray technician. She worked in several hospitals as far away as Honolulu and retired from Bayhealth in Milford. After retirement Peggy worked part-time at the Milford Public Library.
Peggy was an avid reader with a large library and was a Master Gardener. She was also active in her high school reunion activities and her church before her illness.
She was predeceased by her husband, parents, and brother.
A memorial service will be held on December 16, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with a visitation beginning at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Milford Public Library, 11 S.E. Front Street, Milford, DE 19963.
