Margaret Hyslop Mader East

SEMINOLE, Fla. - Margaret Hyslop Mader East, passed away Sun. Dec., 26, 2010. Margaret was born in Craddockville, Va., and graduated Valedictorian from Central High, Painter, Va. in 1933, and earned an RN degree from Norfolk General Hospital School of Nursing in 1938. A former resident of Seaford, Del, she retired to Englewood, Fla. in 1972, and moved to Seminole in 2005. She was preceded in death by parents, John Smith Hyslop Sr. and Sadie LeCato Hyslop; husbands, Robert Charles Mader Sr. and E. Edwin East. She is survived by her brother, John Smith Hyslop Jr. of Exmore, Va; daughter, Charlene (Robert) Harris of Seminole, Fla., and son; Robert (Donna) Charles Mader, Jr. of Hixson, Tenn; grandsons, Jeff (Julie) Mader of Ooltewah, Tenn., and Brian (Amy) Mader of Birmingham, Ala.; four great-grandchildren; a niece; and a nephew. She was a loving mother and friend and will be profoundly missed. Service was held at Belle Haven Cemetery on Mon., Jan. 3, 2010. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760, or a charity of your choice.
