DOVER - Margaret F. "Maggie" Lyons, of Dover, passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, in Country Rest Home. She was 90. She was a Claims Processor with the State of Delaware Department of Labor. Maggie was a loving mother and grandmother; she loved her home and doing crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents, Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Lyons in 1981; and a son, William C. Doughty in 1982. She is survived by four children, Donald Doughty of Pennsylvania, Linda Mills and husband Tom, Gene Doughty and wife Susan, all of Milton, and Gary Lee Doughty of Dover; seven grandchildren, Shane Biddle and wife Jennifer, Ron Doughty and wife Amy, Dawn Bracken, Kenny Bracken, Mike, Todd and Joey Doughty; four great-grandchildren, Austin and Ellie Biddle and Michael and Alexis Doughty; and her cat, Tigger. The family greatly appreciates the loving care given by Country Rest Home and Delaware Hospice, during her stay there. Graveside services will be private. Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Homes, Milford.
