DOVER - Margaret E. Carlisle, 87, of Dover, formerly of Frederica, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010, at her home. Mrs. Carlisle was born July 21, 1923, in Felton, the daughter of the late Daniel and Florence (Hitchens) Roe. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Carlisle was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur "Tody" Carlisle; a brother, Daniel Roe; and two sisters, Helen Wyatt and Mary Emma Moul. She is survived by her brother, Franklin Roe; and a sister, Doris Hollinger, both of Dover; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were noon, Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010, at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Bay Road, Frederica. Arr. by McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, Harrington.
