So, while we struggle with ever-increasing electric bills, eggs almost requiring a loan to buy and a huge loss of state income due to corporations leaving because of an activist judge, our senators and representatives hold a town hall, but all they do is repeat their usual mantra of “Donald Trump is bad. It’s all his fault, so you should hate him, too.”
Well, we didn’t elect any of them to just push the party line and bash the sitting president. We elected them to provide solutions to the issues facing us. Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., came out after the election, promising to work with President Trump on anything that is constitutionally legal. That sure isn’t happening. Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Del., is, as always, just following the party line. Rep. Sarah McBride, D-Del., is more concerned about identity politics than any of us here in Delaware, as well.
I guess we shouldn’t be surprised, though, as this has been the standard set by the Democrats since President Barack Obama was elected.
