Our legislators never cease to amaze me with the level of virtue-signaling stupidity they possess. Avelo Airlines is at least the fourth company to make a go of using the airport in New Castle County as a commercial flight hub. Avelo is not only surviving where others did not but thriving and expanding. Now, because it is making a simple business deal to work with the government to fly illegal immigrants out of the country, our legislature wants to screw that up, too.
Our current legislature has become very antibusiness, and it is going to cost us dearly in the future. We already can’t convince businesses to move here, due to our poor education levels and now property taxes. So, let’s show them that — unless they think the way our legislature does and do exactly what they say, no matter what — we will make it difficult for them to stay in business.
