MILFORD - Madeline Southard Greenly, formerly of Buena Park, passed away May 19, 2013. Madeline was born on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 1926 in Milford Del. She married Mitchell C. Greenly on Feb. 3, 1948. They moved to California in 1954, setteling in Buena Park where they lived and raised their nine children. Madeline's love for children carried over to the nursery she founded and ran for many years at St Pius V parish where they were founding members. Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell, whom she was married to for 56 years; sons, Michael and David; and daughters, Rosemary and Helena. Madeline is survived by sons, Tom, Matt, Mark and James; daughters, Brenda Zamorano, Sister Margaret Greenly and Maryann Miller; as well as Madeline's brother, Robert Southard; 20 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Madeline leaves a legacy of faith and pure love based on the 87 years of Christ-like service, always putting other's needs before her own. Visitation and vigil was held at Renaker-Klockgether Mortuary in Buena Park, Calif. on May 23, 2013. Funeral Mass was held on May 24, 2013, at St. Pius V Catholic Church, Buena Park, Calif.
