CLAYTON - Madeline H. Pat Wilson, of Clayton, died on Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. Pat was born in Clayton on Nov. 21, 1930, the daughter of George and Helen Langrell. Pat retired from the State of Delaware after working 25 years at the Delaware Home and Hospital and the Smyrna School District. Pat was a charter member of the Clayton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, a life member, and served that organization as president. Pat is survived by her husband of 55 years, Marion D. Wilson; one son, Kevin and his wife Pam of Clayton; two granddaughters, Alison Steele and Ashley Wilson of Clayton; two great-granddaughters, Alexis and Alyssa Steele, also of Clayton; a niece, Helen Gregory; and nephew, Johnny Gregory, both of Smyrna. Pat will always be remembered by her family for her love and kindness showed to them, her favorite time was spending time with all of her family enjoying good food and fun. A visitation for family and friends will held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012, from 11 a.m to 1 p.m at the William R. "Ace" Carrow Memorial Hall at the Clayton Fire Station. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at the Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to the Clayton Fire Company, P.O. Box 1050, Clayton, DE 19938.
