HARRINGTON - Madalyn M, Satterfield, of Harrington, passed away on Dec. 8, 2010, in Milford. She was 87. Ms. Satterfield was a lifetime member of Harrington Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary as well as a member of the Harrington Senior Center. She also was a member of Pilgrim Chapel Church. Ms. Satterfield had a great sense of humor and loved having a good time. She loved being with her family and will be missed. If you were her friend you were a friend for life. In addition to her parents, Eugene and Geneva Tucker, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burton E. Satterfield; her son, B. Kevin Satterfield; and four sisters, Mildred Tucker, Elizabeth Walton, Irene Hayes, and Katherine Bright. She is survived by two daughters, Bonnie S. Baker of Milford, and Cheryl Nash and her husband Robert of Milford; three grandchildren, Brian Baker, Shelby Nash, and Joshua Nash, all of Milford; and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Baker. The family wishes to thank her caregiver, Crystal Shear for all the care and kindness given to Ms. Satterfield and her family, the past few weeks, and the Delaware Hospice Center for their care and kindness. Private Graveside Services will be held at Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions in Madalyn's memory to: Pilgrim Chapel, 4792 Milford - Harrington Hwy, Harrington, DE 19952; or Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, Harrington.
