Milford - Mabel V. "Dolly" Rexrode passed away on Friday, Feb. 13, 2015 in Milford Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bristol, Pa. the daughter of the late Warren J. and Alice Solt. She was a homemaker. Dolly was a member of the Milford Senior Center. Her flower beds were her pride and joy, and loved working in her yard, gardening and camping. She was an avid collector of elephants, and had over 2000 of them in her collection. She was also a devoted Elvis Presley fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David C. Rexrode, Sr; daughter Brenda Lee Rexrode; four sisters Madeline "Mickey" Mellor, Edna Williams, Ruth Stockett and Grace Rearick; and one brother Paul Solt. She is survived by her children David C. Rexrode, Jr., Julian Paul Rexrode and his wife Stella, Ronald Dale Rexrode and his wife Arleen, Robert Wayne Rexrode, Roger Allen Rexrode and his wife Tina, and Crystal Lee Masten and her husband William, Jr; two sisters Alice Bartle and Donna Decembrino; two brothers Warren J. Solt, Jr. and John Solt; seven grandchildren, Todd Rexrode, Richard Rexrode, Jason Rexrode, Justin Rexrode, Nicole Rexrode, Natasha Rexrode and Christopher Rexrode and 13 great grandchildren Jeremy McHale, Evan Rexrode, Noah Rexrode, Kayleigh Rexrode, Olivia Rexrode, Julian Rexrode, Ivy Combs, Morgan Wisk, William Masten III, Makenna Wisk, Kinsley Masten, Tristan Rexrode and Alexis Rexrode, and her beloved dog Elvis. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call from 1 - 2 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to the Milford Senior Center, 111 Park Avenue, Milford, DE 19963
