Mabel Mae Cole

Mabel Mae Cole, 102 HENDERSON, Md. - Mabel Mae Cole, 102, of Henderson, died Friday, April 23, 2010, at Caroline Nursing Home, Denton, Md. She was born May 12, 1907, in Milford Neck, Del., to the late Laulie Tull Larimore. Mrs. Cole farmed with her husband, Marion Cole, Sr., until his death in 1953. She went on to work for Playtex, of Dover for over 20 years. She was a member of AARP and the Modern Maturity Center, Dover. She is survived by three sons, Harry T. Cole of Denton, Charles "Buck" M. Cole, Jr. of Denton, and James A. Cole of Lafayette Ga.; one daughter, Elizabeth E. Walls of Goldsboro, Md.; 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Cole, Sr.; her son, Howard "Punkin" M. Cole; and her daughter, Loretta Grace Cole-Carter. Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 27, at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where a visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be in Ridgely Cemetery, Ridgely, Md. Condolences may be sent via www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
