Lyman W. Rash, 66 HARRINGTON - Lyman W. Rash, 66, of Harrington, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009, at home surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Rash was born in Woodside, the son of the late Cortland and Cynthia (Dean) Rash. He worked as a warehouse driver for 43 years at Kraft General Foods in Dover before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed hunting and raising horses. He loved to tinker around on things in his shed behind the house. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Linda Abear and her husband James of Syracuse, N.Y., and Heather Cain of Harrington; two granddaughters, Jamie Lynn and Devi Rae; one grandson, James, Jr.; and one great-granddaughter, Madison. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., today, Dec. 3, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington, where friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Rt. 10, Camden. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way, New Castle, DE 19720.
