Lyle P. DeMarie, 54

DOVER - Lyle P. DeMarie, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, in his home. He was 54. He was born on Dec. 12, 1953 in Dover, to Lawrence and Ruby Thompson DeMarie. Lyle was a 1971 graduate of Holy Cross High School, and a graduate with a master degree from Wilmington College. He worked for the State of Delaware in the audit department. Lyle was a very active member of Holy Cross, the Democrat Party of Delaware, and Kent County as Committee person, 32nd District Chair, and working on many campaigns. He is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence DeMarie. He is survived by mother, Ruby DeMarie of Dover; son, Kyle DeMarie of Dover; brother, Lawrence DeMarie of Philadelphia, Pa.; sister, Lynne Dulin of Phoenix, Ariz.; aunt, Geneva Adams of Dover; niece, Nicki Zimmerman of Coolidge, Ariz.; and nephew, Eddie Dulin of Flag Staff, Ariz. Remembrance Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may call one hour prior. Burial will be at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
