Luzetta H. Holloway, 86

LINCOLN - Luzetta H. Holloway, 86, of Lincoln, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Mrs. Holloway was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Charles and Luzetta Witt. She was a homemaker. Luzetta was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Blue Hen Post #6483, Milford. She enjoyed doing puzzle books, playing cards, and going to the beach where she loved fishing, clamming, and BBQ's. She enjoyed going to the motorcycle races at the Lincoln and Georgetown Speedways when her children were younger. She also enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren, Coty and Billy III, who came to visit her regularly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Holloway Sr. in 1979; a brother, Alfred Witt; and three sisters, Katherine Ross, Alice Jones and Dorothy Paquette. She is survived by two sons, Thomas H. Holloway Jr. and his wife Jacquelyn of Hughes Springs, Texas, and William C. Holloway Sr. and his wife Shirley of Lincoln; two daughters, Beatrice Ann Baldwin, of Felton and Frances Johnson of Milford; 13 grandchildren, Amy, Billy Jr., Dennis, Candy, Tammy, Cody, Scott, David, Patricia, Tina, Glen, Ricky and Ronnie; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Audrey Donovan of Snow Hill, Md. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends may call on Monday evening from 7 - 9 p.m. Burial will be in Henlopen Memorial Park, Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
