Louise R. Williamson, 85

PARKER, Colo. - Louise R. Williamson, of Parker, formerly of Bridgeville, Del., passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008, in the home of her daughter, Ann Curtis, in Parker. She was 85.

Mrs. Williamson was born on Nov. 8, 1922, in Denton, Md., daughter of the late Naomi and Maurice Roe.

Mrs. Williamson graduated from Caroline County High School, class of 1939.

She was a faithful member of the Union United Methodist Church of Bridgeville.

Mrs. Williamson retired from the state of Delaware, Social Services Department in 1987.

She married William Earl Travers on Jan. 31, 1942.

Mr. Travers lost his life in 1945 while serving with the U.S. Navy during World War II.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williamson was preceded in death by her second husband, Donald R. Williamson in August 1992.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Travers Wetherhold of Marana, Ariz., and Ann Marie Curtis of Parker; two sons-in-law, David Wetherhold and Bob Curtis; a granddaughter, Bree Anne Wetherhold Pappan and her husband Michael of Tucson, Ariz.; a great-granddaughter, Madison Anne Pappan; five dear sisters-in-law, Mrs. Grace Williamson of Bridgeville, Mrs. Evelyn Williamson Murphy of Salisbury, Md., Mrs. Nancy Travers Collins of Woolford, Md., Mrs. Frances Travers of Woolford, Mrs. Pat Travers of Woolford; and a brother-in-law, Mr. Petey Travers of Woolford.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Hardesty Chapel, 202 Laws Street, Bridgeville.

Interment will be private at Bridgeville Cemetery.

Pastor Dale Brown will be officiating.
