Louise G. Baum

KENNEDYVILLE, MD - Louise G. Baum passed away on July 14, 2013 in Chester River Manor, Chestertown. Mrs. Baum was born on Feb. 8, 1920 in Kennedyville, daughter of the late Arthur A. 'Bootie' Groves and Mabel B. Groves. She was a graduate of Chestertown High School. In 1957, she married Gilbert Baum, they lived in Chester and Philadelphia, Pa. before moving to Seaford, Del. in 1980. After her husband's death she moved to Kennedyville where she lived with her niece, Margaret Reese and her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Gilbert J. Baum; a sister, Elizabeth Money; and a brother, James Groves. She is survived by her niece with whom she lived, Margaret Reese (Jimmie); and nieces and nephews, Harry A. 'Porky' Money (Diane), Judith M. Puckett (Med), Cooper Money, Linda Jeanes (Billy) and Nancy Wallace (Lindy); her loving great niece and nephew who helped care for her, Gail R. Jackson (Dane) and Dale Reese; and numerous great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thurs., July 18, 2013 from 10 to 11 a.m. in Kennedyville United Methodist Church, Kennedyville, Md., where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial in adjoining cemetery.
