Lorraine Provost

WOODSIDE - Lorraine "Mum" Provost, of Woodside, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was born on Oct. 27, 1934, in Lewiston, Maine, to the late Leo and Wilhelmina Berube Roy. "Mum" moved to the area from Lewiston, Maine. She attended Holy Cross Church in Dover. She enjoyed cooking and trips to the beach. She was the best "Mum" in the world. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Provost of Woodside; son and his wife, Michael and Mary Provost of Stafford, Va.; daughter and her husband, Susan and Edward Trinidad of Tucson, Ariz.; daughter and her husband, Sharon and Rick Guido of Elkton, Md.; daughter, Robin Provost of Woodside; brother and his wife, Maurice and Jolene Roy of Lewiston, Maine; and five grandchildren, Nikki, Stephen, Derick, Stephanie, and Jenna. Remembrances Services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, March 11, 2012, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will host a celebration of life service in Oxford, Maine, in August. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Delaware Hospice or American Cancer Society.
