Lorraine Henderson

DOVER - Lorraine Henderson, age 83, of Dover, died Nov. 26, 2010, at the Heritage Assisted Living, Dover. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Thomson and Mary May Kelly. Throughout the 1940's and 1950's, Mrs. Henderson had worked for Bell Telephone of Philadelphia and had later worked as a sales clerk in the Philadelphia area, working at Roaman's and later at Lane Braynt Co. in North East Philadelphia. She later moved to Smyrna, and had attended St. Polycarps Church. Her faith was an important part of her life as she had previously been a 50 year member of the Resurrection of Our Lord Parish located in Philadelphia. Mrs. Henderson was an outgoing person and was dedicated to the relationships that she made throughout her life. She will be missed by those who knew and cared for her. Mrs. Henderson is survived by two loving sons, William (Bill) Henderson and his wife Patricia of Smyrna, and Gorge Henderson and his wife Gloria of San Diego, Calif.; two grandchildren, Coleen Marie Henderson and Timothy (TJ) Henderson, both of Smyrna. Private Graveside Services will be held in the Holy Sepulcher Cemetery Phila., Pa. Life's End Services are by Michael J. Ambruso Funeral Director, Inc., Dover.
