Lorraine Helen Carlino

MILFORD - Lorraine Helen Carlino died Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the home of her daughter, Wendy. Mrs. Carlino was born in Quincy, Ma. the daughter of the late Frank and Murdena (Ross) Tangherlini. She worked as a secretary at L.D. Caulk in Milford for 10 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Milford, where she served as a Deacon and was a longstanding member of the Women's Association. She was a longtime member of the Shawnee Home Demonstration Club. She enjoyed traveling with her husband John, but what was most important to Lorraine was her large and loving family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John S. Carlino in 2002 and son John Douglas Carlino in 1993. She is survived by a son, Barry D. Carlino and his wife Peggy; a daughter, Wendy J. Welfley and her husband Thomas, all of Milford; a sister, Beverly Prive, of Plymouth, Ma.; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m., on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford where friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
