Lorraine D. Cole, 82

SMYRNA - Lorraine D. Cole, of Smyrna, passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009. She was 82. She was a lifelong resident of Smyrna, and had retired from the Delaware Home and Hospital for the Chronically Ill in 1991. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Vance L. Cole; a daughter, Cathy (Anthony) Williams of Dayton, Texas; a son, Randy (Terri) Cole of Magnolia; a brother, Roy (Sandy) Donovan of Smyrna; three grandchildren, Amie and Brett Edwards, both of Dayton; and Madison Cole of Magnolia; and three great-grandchildren, Travis, Jared, and Kelsi Adams, all of Dayton. Services will be noon, Saturday, Aug. 15, at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
