Lorraine B. Davenport, 89 DOVER - Lorraine B. Davenport, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2010, in Christiana Hospital. She was born on May 19, 1920, in Buffalo, N.Y., daughter of the late Anthony and Mabel Welfert. Lorraine enjoyed life as a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Davenport. She is survived by a daughter Linda Hunter of Mills River, N.C.; a son, Greg Davenport of Dover; daughter-in-law, Theresa Davenport of Dover; a sister, Marlene Arlotta of Buffalo, N.Y,; granddaughters, Christine Oberheitmann of Mills River, N.C., Tamara Martin of Edneyville, N.C.; grandsons, Christopher Davenport of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Jeffery Davenport of Salisbury, Md.; and six great grandchildren. Services and burial will be private at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
