Loretta M. Muller, 62 MILFORD - Loretta M. Muller, 62, of Milford, passed away Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She is the daughter of the late Robert W. Hurd Sr. and Edith Murray Hurd. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Beth Hurd, Sandy Williams, and Marshall P. Hurd. Mrs. Muller worked at LD Caulk Company for 15 years, and also Milford Stitching, before retiring to take care of her granddaughter. She was a lifelong resident of Milford loved gardening, was an immaculate housekeeper, and enjoyed line dancing. She loved going to the beach and tanning. Loretta enjoyed camping at Cherrystone, Va., especially with her brothers, sisters and family and loved to salt water fish. She was a caring and loving person, with a heart of gold, no one was a stranger to her. She was truly dedicated to her family, a loving mother and devoted wife to her husband of 41 years, Warren J. Mulller, who passed away Feb. 4, 2009. Loretta attended the Milford Church of the Nazarene and was an avid reader. She was a wonderful person who will be deeply and sadly missed. Besides her mother, Edith Hurd, she leaves behind a son, Warren J. "Joey" Muller Jr. of Houston; a daughter, Becky Hooper and her husband Mike of Milford; and three grandchildren, Leah Zolik, and Nadja and Jada Hooper. Also six surviving siblings, Robert W. Hurd, Jr. and his wife Amamda, Elaine Ann Hurd, Lonny G. Hurd and wife Vivian, Beverly J. Lindale and husband Tony, Joey H. Hurd and wife Lynn, Bryan K. Hurd and wife Traci. Loretta loved going to the Milford Diner to eat and leaves behind all of her special friends, who were like family to her, at the Diner. Funeral services were Friday, March 5, at the Milford Church of the Nazarene Rt. 113 North DuPont Highway, Milford. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford. Arrangements handled by Berry Short Funeral Home, Milford.
