Loisteen Mae Cain, 69

CAMDEN - Loisteen Mae Cain, departed this life on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, in Silverlake Nursing Home, Dover. She was 69. She was born Oct. 31, 1939 in Harrington, to the late Earl Thomas Smith and Helen Mae Smith. Loisteen attended William Henry High School. She retired from the poultry company. She was very devoted to her children, grandchildren and loved going on picnics with them. Serving God was her passion, as well as singing for the Lord. Loisteen was preceded in death by her father, Earl Thomas Smith; her mother, Helen Mae Smith; two brothers, Grady Smith and Hewitt Smith; and one sister, Earlene Smith. She is survived by her children, Paul Smith of Dover, Albert Cain Jr. of Salisbury, Md., Alwilda Bordley of Dover, Roger and Velma Cain of Camden, Patricia Worthy of Dover, Rodney and Kelly Cain of Felton, and Robert Brooks Sr. of Dover; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Willard and Jenelle Hughes of Houston, and Eugene and Margarete Smith of Felton; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be 12 noon Sunday, May 24, 2009 at Dover First Seventh Day Adventist Church, 647 Wyoming Ave., Dover, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be in Sharon Hill Cemetery.
