Lois Joan Wicks of Ocala, FL passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Canterfield of Ocala in Ocala, Florida.
Lois was born in Philadelphia PA, daughter of George and Etzell (Turner) Riddagh. She served her country in the US Navy during the Korean War. She was a stay at home mom for her son Dan. She was an avid reader and loved listening to music, especially Tony Bennett.
She was married to James Wicks for 55 years. Lois will be dearly missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Pamela Wicks of Ocala, Fl, two grandchildren, Kimberly and Marcia, four great grandchildren, Brittani, Nathan, Elizabeth and Emily, two great-great grandchildren, Savannah and Mason.
Friends and family may pay their last respects on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road Bear, Delaware 19701
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Dementia Society of America or Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association.
