FELTON, Del. - Lois Claudia Russum passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Bayhealth Kent General after a short illness surrounded by family.
She was born July 4, 1938, in Little Creek, Delaware to the late Clarence McAllister, Sr. and Lillian Barnes McAllister.
Ms. Russum was a kind and generous woman who never thought twice about helping out someone in need. She cherished spending time with her family and was an extraordinary Mommom - a job she took quite seriously. She enjoyed traveling, reading, crocheting, puzzles, and decorated beautiful wedding and birthday cakes for family and friends.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her brother, Clarence McAllister, Jr. and his wife Helen; and sister, Lillian Wilkerson, and her husband, Walter.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Lois Russum Blough of Fresno, Calif.; son, Thomas H. Russum, III and his wife, Linda of Elizabeth, Pa.; sisters, Doris Thomas and Ila Beebe and her husband, Roland; grandchildren, Thomas H. Russum, IV and his wife Amanda, Christopher Siwarski and his wife Heather, Luke Russum, Casey Blough, Logan Russum, Shelby Russum; great-grandchildren, Mason Russum, Alonna Siwarski, Savannah Geiger, Nicholas Geiger, Neveah Norris, Isabel Norris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at a date to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to American Cancer Society.
