JMU, Delaware and No. 16 Villanova are the only Colonial Athletic Association teams in the Top 25. The Hens, who open the season at Maine on Sept. 2, have also been ranked No. 5 (Athlon Sports) and No. 6 (Hero Sports) during the summer.

Three Hens honored: Delaware men’s golfers Michal Bargenda, Hugo Kedzlie and Roberto Nieves have been named Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars, the Golf Coaches Association of American announced.

Bargenda, a computer science major from Motycz, Poland, competed in five of six tournaments for UD this spring, ranking third on the team with a 75.14 average round. He finished 13th at the Golfweek Spring Invitational at three under par, including a career-low 70 during the first round of the tournament.

Kedzlie, a philosophy major from Spalding, England, participated in all six tournaments for the Blue Hens, while his 74.35 average round ranked second on the squad.
