Literacy Delaware to hold tutor training

DOVER — Literacy Delaware is offering targeted instruction to adults with limited reading, writing and math skills and English As A Second Language adults.

Tutors are needed in New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties for one-to-one tutoring or small group instruction.

Free, comprehensive training is provided. The upcoming tutor orientation is being held on Thursday, July 22 at 1:30 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. The training will be held each Thursday throughout August with an option of afternoon or evening attendance.

The training is comprised of online courses and four virtual, face-to-face sessions via Zoom.
